Biography

 

Franz Gerbig studied social sciences at the University of Mannheim and at the Universidad Nacional de Colombia. For his graduate thesis he analyzed social inequality and children’s and adolescents’ environmental attitudes. Mr. Gerbig worked as (Student) Research Assistant in the scientific project of “Value Orientations, Motivational Interferences, and Academic Achievement” in the Department of Pedagogic Psychology as well as at the Mannheim Centre for European Social Research in several project stages of online inquiries on political science topics.

 

As of February 2014 Franz Gerbig is Research Assistant for the online survey as part of the project “Educational Landscape of Upper Franconia” (BildungsLandschaft Oberfranken, BiLO). This project is funded by the Upper Franconian Foundation (Oberfrankenstiftung) and is situated at the Leibniz Institute for Educational Trajectories.
