International collaboration in the area of metacognition


Dr. Vered Halamish from Bar-Ilan-University, Israel, visited the Leibniz Institute for Educational Trajectories (LIfBi) for three days in early May. The guest visit was funded by the “German-Israeli Foundation for Scientific Research and Development (GIF)”. The aim of this meeting was an exchange on the specific research experiences in the area of metacognition as well as an exploration of concepts for possible collaborative projects.

During her guest visit from May 8 to 10, 2017, Dr. Vered Halamish held some inspiring talks with Prof. Dr. Cordula Artelt and Dr. Kathrin Lockl from LIfBi as well as Dr. Nora Neuenhaus from the Department of Educational Research at the University of Bamberg. A meeting with Prof. Dr. Sandra Buchholz, Director of LIfBi, was also part of the program.
