The Summer School offered of a one-week program with varied teaching and learning formats and a diverse range of international guests as well as distinguished scholars from different disciplines. In addition to theoretical lectures on topics such as language development and gender segregation in the labor market, methodological workshops (e.g., growth curve modeling), were offered. Also, leading experts organized discussion sessions with Ph.D. students from the Priority Programme. A course on scientific writing for international journal publications rounded off the Summer School, which had a total participation count of 40 scholars.
