5th International NEPS Conference to be held in Bamberg on 7-8 December 2020

4/20/2020

In the hope of a normalization of the situation in the wake of the Corona crisis and a re-start of academic discourse in personal exchange, the Leibniz Institute for Educational Trajectories (LIfBi) plans to continue its series of international conferences with the 5th NEPS Conference in Bamberg on 7 and 8 December 2020. From now on, contributions can be submitted for paper and poster presentations on all topics of empirical educational research. Please find further information and the "Call for Papers" on the conference website.

The NEPS Conferences bring together national and international researchers from different disciplines and at different stages of their scientific careers once a year to present ongoing projects and to discuss current results together. In addition to analyses on all topics of the National Educational Panel Study (NEPS), the program includes several keynote speeches, an award ceremony for the best NEPS publication, a small reception, and an open round-table discussion with the team of the Research Data Centre (FDZ-LIfBi). Conference language is English; participation is free of charge.

If conferences cannot take place as usual until December, the conference website will provide timely information about further planning.
