For the seventh time, the scientific community is invited to the international NEPS conference. Hosted by the Leibniz Institute for Educational Trajectories (LIfBi) the conference brings together researchers from different disciplines and at different stages of their academic careers to discuss current educational research projects. Empirical contributions on all focal areas of National Educational Panel Study (NEPS), including methodological topics, are welcome. However, the analyses presented do not necessarily have to be based on NEPS data.
This year's programme includes a keynote lecture by Prof. Regina Riphahn, Ph.D., a poster session, as well as the well-known presentation of the "NEPS Publication Award". It is endowed with 1,000 EUR, for the best publication based on NEPS data of the past year. Contributions can be nominated for the Publication Award as of now until 31 July 2022. An interdisciplinary jury decides on the award of the publication prize.
Due to the uncertain situation regarding the Corona pandemic, the decision to hold the conference in presence at LIfBi in Bamberg, virtually via Zoom or in a hybrid format cannot be made until late summer. The conference will be held in English, participation is free of charge.
