Jörg Welker attended the 15th annual IMISCOE conference (International Migration, Integration, and Social Cohesion), which took place from July 2-4, 2018, in Barcelona, with a contribution from the study “Refugees in the German Educational System” (ReGES).
After the field start in December 2017, the first wave of interviews of refugee families as part of the study “Refugees in the German Educational System” (ReGES) ended in July 2018 in selected communities in Bavaria, Hamburg, North Rhine-Westphalia, Rhineland-Palatinate, and Saxony.
In February, fieldwork started with interviews of refugee families in selected local communities. This survey collects data of parents and adolescents and tests the competencies of children and adolescents.
The ReGES study appeared with a contribution from Anike Dröscher at the 6th Conference of the Society for Empirical Educational Research (GEBF).
