Institute

The Leibniz Institute for Educational Trajectories (LIfBi) conducts and promotes longitudinal research in educational science in Germany. To this end, it conducts numerous research projects of its own at the Bamberg site and provides fundamental, nationally and internationally significant, research-based infrastructure for empirical educational research.

About us

From the NEPS research proposal to the founding of the institute to the present day, the Leibniz Institute for Educational Trajectories looks back on an exciting history of development. As a central institution of interdisciplinary educational research, LIfBi contributes to making Bamberg one of the most important locations for educational research in Germany.
