9th International NEPS Conference

The NEPS conference series of the Leibniz Institute for Educational Trajectories (LIfBi) brings together scientists from different disciplines and from different stages of their academic careers to discuss current projects in educational research.

The National Educational Panel Study (NEPS) sets the thematic framework with its six panel cohorts covering the entire life span and with its focuses on competence development, educational processes in different learning environments, educational decisions and social inequality, acquisition of education, returns to education, as well as motivational and personality-related aspects.

For the nineth time now, the LIfBi cordially invites the scientific community to an international NEPS conference. Empirical contributions on all mentioned topics, including methodological issues, are appreciated. Contributions are not limited to analyses of NEPS data. Findings based on other data sources – preferably longitudinal studies – are also welcome. The schedule will include paper as well as poster presentations and the traditional award ceremony for the best NEPS publication of the past year.

Conference language is English, participation ist free of charge. The event takes place on site at the LIfBi facilities in Bamberg.

Further information will follow.
