5th International NEPS Conference to be held in Bamberg on 7-8 December 2020

The Leibniz Institute for Educational Trajectories (LIfBi) hopes for a normalization of the situation in the wake of the corona crisis and plans to continue its series of international conferences with the 5th NEPS Conference in Bamberg on 7 and 8 December 2020. From now on, contributions can be submitted for paper and poster presentations on all topics of empirical educational research. Please have a look at our conference website for further information including the "Call for Papers"

The NEPS Conferences bring together national and international researchers from different disciplines and at different stages of their scientific careers once a year to present ongoing projects and to discuss current results together. In addition to analyses on all topics of the National Educational Panel Study (NEPS), the program comprises several keynote speeches, an award ceremony for the best NEPS publication, a small reception, and an open round-table discussion with the team of the Research Data Center (FDZ-LIfBi). Conference language is English; participation is free of charge. If conferences cannot take place as usual until December, we will inform you via the website and by e-mail well in advance about further planning.

Should conferences not be able to take place as usual until December, the conference website will provide timely information on further plans.

Further information can be found on the conference website and the "Call for Papers" available there.
