Information meeting for representatives of German teachers´ associations

Dr. Jutta von Maurice, Executive Director of Research of the National Educational Panel Study (NEPS), presented NEPS to interested representatives of the Bundesverband der Lehrerinnen und Lehrer an beruflichen Schulen e.V. (German Association of Teachers at Vocational Schools) and the Hauptvorstand der Gewerkschaft für Erziehung und Wissenschaft (Executive Board of the Education and Science Trade Union) on July 6th, 2011.

The goal was to explain the underlying concept and the added value of this longitudinal study that, over the next few years, will be delivering reliable information on how competencies develop and change from early childhood until far into adulthood, and how processes of education unfold throughout the life course.
