The workshop is part of the DFG-funded “IECE-Ghana” project. The aim of the workshop is to review existing longitudinal ECEC studies in Germany and identifying transferable methodologies. Besides, it also aims at discussing the Ghanaian ECEC context and data availability. The scientific exchange through the workshop will enable designing a longitudinal study on early childhood development in the Ghanian context by adapting proven methodologies from Germany.
