Third NEPS Full Staff Meeting

The third NEPS Full Staff Meeting held on June 15, 2016, at the Leibniz Institute for Educational Trajectories (LIfBi) focused on the report of the Director and the election of staff representatives. Dr. Michael Bayer, Helene Gress, and Benjamin Schulz were elected.

LIfBi Director, Prof. Dr. Hans-Günther Roßbach, reported on current topics of the NEPS, including work on the plans for the survey design as of 2018 and the strategic future development. Moreover, he emphasized the importance of the performance indicators that were recently collected within the Institute and the NEPS Network particularly with regard to upcoming evaluations starting from 2016. He also presented the online database “NEPS Results Concise and Compact”, which provides summaries in plain language of research findings based on NEPS data.

The election of the three staff representatives at the 3rd NEPS Full Staff Meeting on June 15, 2016, ensures that the NEPS-related interests of the scientific and nonscientific staff of the LIfBi and the external partners of the NEPS Consortium will be represented in the LIfBi Board of Trustees, the NEPS Annual General Meeting, and the NEPS Network Committee for the next 3 years. Of the 167 staff members that were invited 126 were present either in person or by delegation of their voting rights.
