4th Annual General Meeting of NEPS

On February 13, 2017, the Annual General Meeting of the National Educational Panel Study (NEPS) met in Bamberg for the fourth time. The NEPS Annual General Meeting represents scientists from the Leibniz Institute for Educational Trajectories and different cooperating institutions. In this way, the NEPS receives expertise from different academic disciplines. The meeting focused on reinventing the process of instrument development for NEPS as well as its future development.

Following the reports by Prof. Dr. Hans-Günther Roßbach, Director of the Leibniz Institute for Educational Trajectories (LIfBi), and Prof. Dr. Sandra Buchholz, Chairperson of the Annual General Meeting of the NEPS, the meeting carried two motions regarding minor revisions in the „Rules and Regulations of the Annual General Meeting, the Full Staff Meeting, and the Network Committee of the National Educational Panel Study (NEPS)”. Dr. Ellen Ebralidze then presented the restructured process of instrument development in NEPS, which was welcomed by the Annual General Meeting. Finally, the Scientific Heads of the NEPS Network discussed the framework paper on the future development of NEPS presented by Prof. Dr. Hans-Günther Roßbach and Dr. Jutta von Maurice, Executive Director of Research at LIfBi.
