Conclusion Conference: LIfBi Junior Research Group Presents Research Results on "Gender Roles and Competences Across the Life Course"

In October 2016, the junior research group "Gender Roles and Competences Across the Life Course" was established at the Leibniz Institute for Educational Trajectories (LIfBi) under the direction of Dr. Ilka Wolter. In the past four years, two dissertations as well as further research in this topic area have been produced, based primarily on data from the National Educational Panel Study (NEPS). During their time in the junior research group, the researchers Ilka Wolter, Lisa Ehrtmann, and Kathrin Thums have focused on the analysis of NEPS data in the specific consideration and mapping of gender-specific competency trajectories as well as the psychological mechanisms explaining gender differences in competencies and competency-related constructs.

To conclude the LIfBi junior research group, Ilka Wolter, head of the department "Competencies, Personality, Learning Environments" at LIfBi, Lisa Ehrtmann and Kathrin Thums invite to a virtual conference on Friday, February 05, 2021, from 09:00 to 13:00 to discuss the results of their research with colleagues.
