LIfBi presents NEPS at BMBF conference on educational research in Germany

The Leibniz Institute for Educational Trajectories was invited to present the National Educational Panel Study to a broad audience of educational practitioners as well as politicians and education researchers. The conference, which saw many outstanding experts in attendance, initiated communication on different levels. The NEPS convention booth was one of 48 top-class research projects funded by the BMBF that appeared in the “market square” exhibition hall. LIfBi Director, Hans-Günther Roßbach, and Executive Director of Research, Jutta von Maurice, were there to answer at first hand questions on data structure and release dates of different concepts in the NEPS Scientific Use Files. Besides discussing these relevant questions for science, they had the opportunity to talk about the practical relevance of the study with representatives from the educational system as well as policy makers.
