The Evangelische Pressedienst (epd) reports on a recent study conducted by the Institute for Employment Research (IAB) using data from the National Educational Panel Study. According to the study, 38 percent of pensioners continue to work after retirement. After retirement, more than two thirds of the formerly self-employed are still in employment. Among those who were previously employed, the figure is one third.
