The current Scientific Use File (doi:10.5157/NEPS:SC6:16.0.0) contains the newly added data from the sixteenth survey wave (15th NEPS Main Survey Wave) of the Adult Starting Cohort of the National Educational Panel Study (NEPS). The field period ranged from September 2023 to April 2024. The two-part survey consisted of a telephone interview (CATI) focusing on individual biographical information and a subsequent online survey (CAWI) on various cross-sectional topics. Participation in the online survey was not possible without prior telephone interview. Competence testing did not take place in this survey wave.

The Data Manual is also available there as the central guide for understanding and working with the data of the Scientific Use File as well as the Release Notes with information about adjustments regarding the preparation.
