New video tutorial on NEPS data published

To visually support and complement the data training courses, the LIfBi Research Data Center offers a series of tutorials in german on NEPS data and data documentation. The videos provide general information on the data portfolio of the National Educational Panel and on the data structures of the Scientific Use Files. Recently, a new tutorial has been made available in which central characteristics of the Scientific Use Files are explained and information on data access options and anonymization procedures is provided. We hope you enjoy the tutorial.

The range of tutorials is being continuously expanded. In addition to the new video on scientific use files in general, four tutorials are currently available on the website - on the NEPS start cohorts 1 to 6, on the NEPS universe of data sets and data formats, on the start cohort of adults in particular, and on NEPS-ADIAB, the National Educational Panel data set linked with administrative data from the Federal Employment Agency. Further tutorials on selected problems of data preparation with corresponding application examples are planned for the future.
