During his term, Christian Aßmann will focus primarily on further expanding the LIfBi’s survey and data infrastructure and supporting related research. In addition, he will strengthen the institute’s collaboration with Otto Friedrich University of Bamberg in new areas of research. The focus will be particularly on the topics of education and digitization/artificial intelligence, with a special emphasis on artificial intelligence in survey infrastructure.
The LIfBi thanks Corinna Kleinert, who has served as deputy director since 2021, for her dedication over the past few years. In this role, she helped develop various guidelines at the institute and made a significant contribution to the success of the DFG Priority Program SPP 2431, “New Data Spaces for the Social Sciences.”
