RDC adds video tutorials to its NEPS service portfolio

As of now, interested persons can find two video tutorials on the website of the Research Data Center (RDC, Forschungsdatenzentrum FDZ) to introduce the survey design of the National Educational Panel Study (NEPS) and to explain the data structure of the Scientific Use Files offered.

The tutorials are a supplement to the NEPS data training courses and the NEPS data documentation. They facilitate the start of working with the NEPS data by providing general information on the six starting cohorts and the data structures of the Scientific Use Files in a visual format. Currently, two German-language tutorials are available. In the course of time, the collection will be continuously expanded. Among other things, several videos with examples of concrete challenges regarding the preparation of NEPS data for analyses are planned.
