Human Resources/Front Office

The personnel office is responsible for 

  • the application management from the job advertisement to the organization of interviews
  • the personnel administration from onboarding to resignation
  • the preparation and execution of payroll accounting
  • processing business trip requests and settling travel expenses
  • preparing references for employees covered by collective bargaining agreements and auxiliary staff
  • supporting and advising employees on all HR issues
  • preparing personnel statistics and projections
  • the coordination of training at LIfBi

Reception is the first personal point of contact for all LIfBi employees, guests, and vendors Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. 

The main tasks are:

  • Preparation of events and meetings (e.g. room booking, media technology, catering)
  • Mailroom (including receiving deliveries of goods and registered mail, distributing letter mail, franking outgoing mail and documentation)
  • Issue and procurement of office consumables
  • Issue and management of access cards and transponders
  • Contract management with student assistants
