The purpose of this workshop is to promote the exchange of ideas and the establishment of closer networks among European survey researchers who are leading and/or working on large-scale panel studies collecting (retrospective) life history data.
By sharing experiences and reflecting on current developments—especially in the realm of self-administered life course data collection—participants will co-create a roadmap for future innovations and possibilities of collaboration. This could include exploring joint projects, interoperable software solutions, and networked funding applications. Ultimately, the workshop seeks to catalyze a collaborative community that enhances data quality, cost-efficiency, and respondent engagement in life course survey research.
